lawrenceville used to be a nice place to live...

chris, christian, max, and i were all sitting in the livingroom chatting, when we heard "fireworks" before we could get to the window to see an early fourth of july surprise....we realized that it was the complete opposite of wonderful...it was gunshots. about 10 of them...yikes! i, of course, called 911...they answer calling me by name (since I call all the time about different conspiracy theories i have) :)

about 15 secs later....every police--man, woman, and dog was on our street...when i announced to all the non-voyeurs in my family that a dog had been released, bekah, who had not heeded my advice of "STAY IN YOUR HOUSE" said "wow, dogs can smell guns?!?" our laughter stopped when we saw that because of our narrow street, the man had to be wheeled down to the ambulance...we saw a man with bullet holes wheeled down our street!!! his arm kept falling of the gurney...i have goosebumps telling the story...

anyways, i've enclosed the link incase any of you think i've made this up...chris said "pack your sh--. we're outta here." max started crying at his father's hostility and we are currently living in andy and francine's basement....just kidding...:)

we're all fine...why you ask?? because i pray a hedge around us as a family and bullets are no match for God...

a day in the life...in lawrenceville....

Wow, that's scary Jess! I saw something about that on the news yesterday and meant to call you but then I got busy with the baby. I am glad that God protected you and that you are all ok.
