as we approach this weekend, i look back at last weekend as one of my best ever. max had his first overnight away from us and did great. (i did cry when he left!) saturday, we went to the zoo, saw a new baby, and hung out with good friends. sunday was a great day too. very relaxing weekend. we definitely needed it. now as we come to a busy weekend, i really appreciate that time even more and look forward to more of the same.

we just have a lot of activities this weekend. we have the "ASLexpo" this morning. I hate the word expo...but...it's related to my field so we are going. then we are meeting max's great grandad for lunch, going to an art show, and out to dinner with friends...it's just chaos here today. all fun stuff but not the relaxing weekend like last week. tomorrow will be nice, if it doesn't rain, we're going to the zoo during the game. i like that better...
Awww...baby Lucy is so cute! When was she born? How big was she? Congrats Dave, Erin and Ella on the new addition to the fam.
